This is for the political correctness group - I am putting up a CHRISTMAS TREE, not a Holiday Tree, I am wishing people MERRY CHRISTMAS, not Happy Holidays, I have decorated outside with CHRISTMAS LIGHTS, not Holiday Lights, and I hope we can put a stop to this political correctness nonsense during the CHRISTMAS SEASON!

No Real Budget Cuts! It's all smoke and mirrors!

Neither the President nor Congress are serious about reducing the deficit! All they are really talking about is cutting the amount of increase in the deficit.  In other words, instead of increasing the deficit by another 5 Trillion dollars, they are only going to increase it by 4 Trillion dollars, and then they call this a 1 Trillion dollar  budget reduction! What a joke!

Cost of Christmas Keeps Going Up!

The total cost for the 364 items mentioned in the "12 Days of Christmas"  is now estimated at $101,119!

This is the first time the cost has been over $100,000!  ( It's probably Bush's fault!)

I think it is time to give voters another option in the voting booth-  "None Of The Above"!

Gingrich supports amnesty for some illegals

Newt Gingrich in last night debate said he supports allowing  some illegals to stay!  In other words, he supports amnesty and is for rewarding people who have broken the law.

I wonder if he also supports rewarding US citizens who have broken the law!

US Misery Index at 28 year high!

An unofficial gauge of human misery in the United States rose last month to a 28-year high as Americans struggled with rising inflation and high unemployment.
The misery index — which is simply the sum of the country's inflation and unemployment rates — rose to 13.0, pushed up by higher price data the government reported.

The data underscores the extent that Americans continue to suffer even two years after a deep recession ended, with a weak economic recovery imperiling President Barack Obama's hopes of winning re-election next year.

Rapture predicted to be this Friday, October 21, 2011

Get ready!  According to  Harold Camping, the end of time preacher, who incorrectly predicted the world would end on May 21st, now says it will happen this Friday, 10/21/11.

He now claims that May 21st was just a spiritual rapture, the real thing is coming this Friday.

Drug testing for welfare or unemployment benefits

Since most jobs now require one to pass a drug test, does it make sense to require those receiving
welfare or unemployment benefits to also pass a drug test?

Who's Paying Their Fair Share!

Since 50% of wage earners pay no income tax at all, are they paying their fair share?  Of course they are according to Obama!  It's the Millionaires and Billionaires who are not paying their fair share!

But, since the top 1% of wage earners pay 38% of all  income taxes,  it seems hard to make a case that they are not paying their fair share.

What's interesting to note is that Obama has yet to define what is a "fair share"!
