No matter how Obama spins it, ObamaCare should really be called The Unaffordable Health Care Act, as people learn more about the details of this fiasco will come to realize. And a surprising number of Americans - mostly Obama supporters -are under the misconception that it is FREE, which it is NOT!

IT'S HARD TO CALL IT A SHUTDOWN - 63% OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ARE ON THE JOB!

It's hard to call it a government shutdown when 63% of the federal government employees are on the job! It's really a slowdown, but then the government never provided very fast service anyway! But as this continues the Democrats will bring out their trite warnings of doom and gloom - millions will lose their jobs, kids will go hungry, the economy will collapse, grandma will go over the cliff, etc., etc.. Meanwhile the 37% so-called non-essential employees will continue to get paid either by taking the time off as vacation or sick leave pay. And so it goes ...

DEBT CEILING ISSUE and a REPUBLICAN OPPORTUNITY!

The Congressional Republicans have a golden opportunity with the upcoming debt ceiling issue, and hopefully they will take advantage of it. Obama recently claimed that raising the debt ceiling does not raise the national debt. Theoretically, he’s right, but the only reason the debt ceiling needs to be raised is so the government can borrow more money – which undoubtedly will raise the debt! So the Republican strategy should be to raise the debt ceiling, but tie it to a provision that prohibits any borrowing which would raise the national debt. The provision would, however, allow borrowing to replace mature debt with new debt, but only on a dollar for dollar basis. This way Obama can’t claim that Congressional Republicans didn’t give him what he wanted, and it keeps him from raising the debt, which he said a debt ceiling increase would not do. Then leave it to Obama and the Democrats to deal with!

There is no truth to the claim that increasing spending per pupil improves student achievement! There has never been a definitive study that shows any correlation between spending and student achievement. If fact, some school districts which have the highest per capita spending per student have some of the lowest scores on achievement tests.

DON"T DEFUND OBAMACARE!

Though I’m in favor of defunding ObamaCare, I think trying to do so will backfire on the Republicans. Obama, Congressional Democrats and the Lame Stream Media working together always seem to get the better of the Republicans in any confrontation. I believe a much better strategy for the Republicans would be for them to fully fund ObamaCare, but with the following conditions: * It cannot be implemented until all current exemption to the law expire! * No additional exemptions are allowed! * Eliminate all the special“perks” that were included in the law to get passage! * Eliminate anything else in the law not directly related to health care! This would then leave it up to Obama and the Democrats to deal with! Finally, Republicans should stop using the term ObamaCare, and only refer to it as the “Unaffordable Health Care Act”, so citizens may begin to understand how this law is really going to affect their lives.

From what I understand from Obama's talk on race, I should be no more concerned about my safety if I'm being followed by half a dozen "pants on the ground" Blacks than if I'm being followed by 6 White nuns! I wonder how many in the Black community would agree with that?

If I’m being beaten and robbed during a home invasion, how do I make sure I’m not violating the civil rights of my assailants? Am I required to reveal the location of valuables they may not easily locate? Do I need to help the assailants carry the stolen goods out to their vehicle, and if they don’t have one am I required to lend them my car. Do I need to warn them of potential tripping hazards in my residence? Do I need to guarantee them that TV’s, stereo’s, computers, etc. are all in working order? How am I allowed to address them? Is Sir and/or Madam ok, or is there some other approved salutation? Am I required to reimburse them for medical charges they may incur from bruised knuckles, etc.? WHERE IS ERIC HOLDER REGARDING ANTONIO SANTIAGO

Because of the news media and the race hustlers by now almost eveyone has heard of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman and the unfortunate result of their confrontation. Antonio is a 13 month old boy who was shot in the face and killed by Demarquise Elkins in Brunswick, GA in March of this year, while he was trying to rob Antonio's mother! The Obama Administration’s decision to delay the ObamaCare Employer Mandate from 2014 to 2015 is nothing but a political ploy to avoid losing voter support! This nonsense about concern for businesses is pure malarkey. Since when has the Obama Administration been interested in helping business, except perhaps to put them out of business! Under ObamaCare any employee who works 30 hours or more is considered a full time employee. To get around this, many employers were planning on reducing part-time employees to 29 hour a week and citing the Employer Mandate as the reason for their actions. The Obama Administration did not want to face this kind of bad press during the 2014 midterm election, so they conveniently moved the mandate time to 2015! Unfortunately, Congressional Republicans will probably be too busy "Illegal Hugging" to take advantage of this ploy!

MARCO RUBIO IS A LYING, ILLEGAL HUGGER!

Here is an open letter to Marco Rubio! Dear Senator Rubio, I think it is time you stop misleading people! I say that because it is obvious you are only interested in getting legal status for illegals – which begins with the so-called provisional status which starts immediately and lasts 6 years! Your talk about border security was nothing but a ploy to garner support! I’ve heard you say several times on TV that border security needs to be first, but evidently you did not mean what you said, because of your actions of voting against amendments that would require security first and legalization second! Also, misleading is your assertion that this bill will generate tax revenue. This bill will do nothing of the kind! Most illegals have low wage jobs, so they likely will pay no income taxes and probably get refunds due to their number of dependents and child care credits. Most will just be added to the 50% of workers who now pay no income tax. Perhaps sometime in the near future you can take time out from your busy schedule of illegal hugging and misrepresentation and try telling the truth! Also, since it appears many Republican Senators no longer have the gonads they were born with, I’m wondering if Harry Reid does the removal himself or is it done by a staffer and he just presides over the ceremony?

IMMIGRATION BILL FLAWS!!

The proposed immigration bill has 4 major flaws: The minimum fine should be at least $10,000 not $2000, and no one who has been convicted of a misdemeanor should be eligible! The proposed legislation I believe allows for 3. This country already has enough criminals. Illegals who are criminals should all be deported! Only those who came here prior to 2008 should be eligible. The proposed legislation makes anyone here prior to 2012 eligible. Finally and most important, provisional status should only happen once a border fence has been erected and the border is fully secured. The proposed legislation just requires the DHS to certify that steps will be taken to secure the border - which means the border, will never be made secure and millions more will enter illegally! I'm opposed to this bill and have contacted my Congressman and Senators asking them to also oppose it, unless these flaws are corrected. Hopefully others will do the same!
